Harry
and Willy and Carrothead (1991)
Harry was born with no left hand, and is fitted for a prosthesis.
When he attends school, he makes new friends with Oscar, who
is sometimes called Carrothead and hates it. Prejudice and
baseball and especially friendship are the simple themes of
the book. I interviewed a wonderful man who made prosthetics
for children.
